Unrequited

i have watched him struggle
i have watched him grow
i have seen the tears he has shed
that world will never know
i have held his hand in the darken silence of the night
felt his joys and pains
and observed his Spirit take flight
I have shared his dreams,
and worked to make them  my reality
i shared his failures did not accepted them as a normality
i have walked beside him in the rain
kissed him good bye
and waited for him to come Home again,
i have shared ,
i have cared,
i have listened
to him with my Heart
when he spoke,
i have learned to Dream
i have learned to HOPE,
 i have stood and gazed at the skies
 and Prayed for His soul
with Tears in my eyes,
i reached
and i have yearned
i didn't understand
why Love wasn't returned
